Hành lá rửa sạch, cắt khúc 1cm. Đậu hũ rửa sạch, cắt miếng vuông vừa ăn. Làm nóng dầu, cho đậu hũ vào chiên vàng đều các mặt.
Tỏi bóc vỏ. Gừng rửa sạch, cạo vỏ, giã nhuyễn cùng với tỏi. Thịt heo bằm cho vào chén, ướp cùng muối, bột ngọt, 1/2 tiêu khoảng 10 phút.
Đun nóng 2 muỗng dầu. Phi thơm tỏi, gừng. Cho thịt đã ướp sẵn vào xào chín, đổ ra chén.
Tiếp tục dùng chảo đó, cho vào 1/2 chén nước, nước tương, sa tế, đường, 1/2 tiêu còn lại. Nấu sôi. Cho đậu hũ đã chiên vào nấu cùng, đảo đều.
Cho thịt xào vào chảo, nêm dầu hào, đảo đều. Xào đến khi phần nước sốt sánh lại và bám đều quanh miếng đậu hũ. Tắt bếp, rắc hành lá, trình bày ra đĩa. Món này dùng nóng với cơm.
